DIY Synth Kit
Build your very own synthesiser in less than an hour! The DIY Synth Kit puts the power of the 80s in the palm of your hand.
With skinny trousers and big hair de rigueur, it was only a matter of time before electronica found its way back into pop music. ‘What is this mysterious instrument?’ we hear the children shout into their ear buds. What indeed.
The only instrument to match the told-you-so tones of a 1980s vocalist; the astroturf of the piano world; synth is back! And it’s no longer just for Shoreditch hipsters and shoulder-padded starlets on Top of the Pops (ask your Dad, kids).
Thanks to the DIY Synth Kit you can now build your very own miniature synthesiser in less time than it took Spandau Ballet to write ‘Gold’! It has all the components you need, from the all-important 556 integrated circuit to a miniature speaker. There’s a handy breadboard for prototyping and two control potentiometers for altering the waves’ frequency and width.
Sounds complicated? With simple step-by-step instructions you’ll be writing songs about Tories and making 80s-style effects in no time. Altogether! ‘She-e’s a model and she’s loo-oking goo-od…’
