Orders are despatched either via Royal Mail or DHL depending on weight or value of the basket
Economy Shipping is sent via an untracked service. If you wish to track your order, please select the Registered Shipping service.
All orders are shipped from our headquarters in the UK. You will therefore be responsible for any import duties which may be applied to orders shipped outside the EU.
Delivery outside the UK
International shipping is calculated on the weight, size and value of your order, so it can vary depending on what products you have purchased. We constantly review pricing and shipping options with our international couriers, to ensure your delivery is both safe and affordable.
The simplest way to see your delivery options is to head through to the checkout and enter your delivery address; we’ll automatically show you the best available options.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery times will vary depending on your selected shipping method. If you’re not sure, just check your order confirmation email, as it has everything you need to know.

Royal Mail 1st Class Post:
Most deliveries usually arrive within 3 working days, however we cannot investigate a potentially missing delivery with Royal Mail until 7 working days have passed. If you haven’t received your order or a failed delivery card from Royal Mail in that time, we suggest you contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding your parcel for you, before contacting us. To find out your local sorting office number call Royal Mail on 08457 740 740 or consult your local phone directory.
Royal Mail Special Delivery:
Royal Mail Next Day deliveries should be with you before 1pm on the next working day after dispatch. However for some outlying areas, this is changed to 5pm (JE, GY, ZE, BT, IM, KW, IV and HS). You can track your order online at www.royalmail.com using the tracking number in your dispatch confirmation email. If you don’t have your tracking number, disagree with the information provided or believe Royal Mail have let you down then please contact ous and we can investigate this for you.
European Airmail parcels usually arrive within 2-7 working days, however please wait until 10 working days have passed before contacting us. Non-European Airmail parcels usually arrive within 10 working days but please allow 15 working days before contacting us.
How do I cancel my order?
We all make mistakes, not to worry. Just get in touch with our us as soon as you can. We strive to despatch orders as quickly as possible, so the clock’s ticking! (Mind you, if it does get despatched, just send it back for a refund).
Just give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll have a return sorted ASAP, whether it’s for a refund or a replacement. Simple as that.
Returns and Refunds
We won’t make you jump through hoops… unless you want to.
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible and these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
We will try to attend to all returns as soon as practically possible.
Please note that product returns are not able to be accepted in person at our office address.
Our policy is to ensure that you are satisfied every time you place an order with The Fowndry. If you are unhappy with an item when you receive it or if you simply change your mind please return it to us within 30 days, with the despatch note, having taken reasonable care of it and in an unused state complete with packaging and all components, and we will refund you the price you paid for that product (including P&P).
We will make the refund directly to the credit/charge card used to place the original order within 10 days or earlier once we have inspected the returned item and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in the condition it was in when delivered to you.
You won’t even have to pay for the return postage cost of the products(s), as we include a freepost label with every order.
Certain products and services are excluded from this returns policy, including food/perishable items, personalised products or those made to order. These items cannot be returned for a refund unless faulty. Products excluded such as these are clearly marked on the product information page.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
We try to select and package the products as well as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition. However, if a product arrives damaged or with defects, or is not what you ordered, we will replace it free of charge or provide a full refund as appropriate.
Please contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to inform us of your wish to return the product. We offer a 30 day ‘no quibble’ returns policy from the date you received your item but it is helpful to understand the nature of any problem before the item is returned.
Then, simply package up your unwanted item, affix the included returns label to the outside of the parcel and take to your local Post Office.
You will be responsible for the returned Products until they reach us.
Once received back at our warehouse we will test the item. If it's deemed to be faulty we will refund your full order including original postage fee within 10 working days.
This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Unwanted Products - Consumer Contracts Regulations
By law, consumers in the European Union have the right to cancel a contract for the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after receipt of the order. Because we are decent and fair-minded people we have extended this period to 30 days.
If you wish to cancel your order under the regulations we ask you to please notify our Customer Service team quoting your name and order number:
- by email at email@example.com; or
- by post to our office address (see above)
We will then arrange for you to be refunded accordingly.
Where you are cancelling your order within this cooling-off period, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
- where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the delivery charge based on our standard delivery rate.
- where you are returning your entire order, we will refund the delivery charge incurred.
- where we collect an item from you, we will cover the cost of the return delivery
