Trippin' The LuminAID Light Fantastic

When is a light, not a light? When it's also a brilliant (pun intended) product that improves the comfort, safety, and survival of earthquake victims...which is how the LuminAID Solar Powered Light came into being back in 2010; conceived as a design to fulfill the basic need for light in post-natural disaster situations, shortly after the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

The flat packed LuminAID inflates to produce a waterproof and buoyant LED lamp... A solar panel on the face refuels the batteries in a fairly nifty 4 hours, enough to pump out 35 lumens for that long, or 20 lumens for 6 straight hours. Extremely handy for camping, glamping, hiking or as a portable boat light. A quite literally brilliant bag of sunshine.
